


EDITORIAL BOARD PROFILE![]() Ann Auman has been teaching print and online news editing, writing and design as well as contemporary issues and ethics in the University of Hawaii's journalism program since 1991. She has conducted award-winning research on the organizational culture and identity of newspapers and journalists in an ethnically diverse context. Her research interests focus on cross-platform journalism curricula, newspaper organizational culture, and race and ethnicity in news. She has 10 years of industry experience and has worked for The Toronto Star, the Globe and Mail, the Vancouver Sun, Global Television Network and in public relations. Ph.D. & M.A. (Hawaii), M.B.A. & B.A. (Toronto). She has also lived and worked outside the U.S. in Canada, China, Japan and Switzerland. |
